The third annual Academic All-American Showcase will be held July 12-13 at the Joy Of The Game Center in Deerfield, IL.  Since its inception, the showcase has attracted national acclaim and is a must for any varsity level high school player who has a g.p.a. of over 3.0 and also has college basketball aspirations.

Last year the Academic Showcase featured 100 players with an average ACT score of 27.  The 2008 event has already attracted players from 15 states, with the average ACT score this time being 28.  It is an NCAA certified event and close to 100 college coaches from top academic schools ranging from D1 (including virtually every school from the Ivy League and Patriot League) to the very best D3 academic schools are expected to be in attendance.

Players who wish to sign up for this event still have time to do so by visiting the Joy Of The Game web site at www.joyofthegame.com or calling the Joy Of The Game office at 847-498-6646.
